There’s something special about returning to familiar places—especially during Ramadan. A recent iftar at Mardhiyyah Hotel in Shah Alam brought the whole extended family together for an evening filled with laughter, good food, and shared stories.
It reminded me how some places hold memories that resurface the moment you walk through the doors. And this time, the memories went even deeper—because hanging on the wall was a painting we had installed there back in 2021.
Seeing it again was such a pleasant surprise. This is exactly what we mean when we talk about timeless art—not just something pretty to fill a space, but something that grows with it, enhances it, and becomes part of its story.
Still bold, still beautiful, still commanding the room—it looked just as it did on day one. We even pulled up an old photo from the day it was completed and stood in the same spot. The years in between only made the moment more meaningful.
